Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was involved in a one-car crash Thursday on his way to the United Center but said he wasn't injured.

"It's nothing serious at all," Toews said via text to the Chicago Tribune. "I'm good."

A police report said the 23-year-old was turning left when the car clipped an "L" support beam.

Toews already had been scratched from the Blackhawks lineup Thursday night against the Dallas Stars because of an upper-body injury. There has been speculation that Toews, who also sat out a game Tuesday, is recovering from a concussion.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
