Chicago Blackhawks forward Dave Bolland took a verbal swipe at the Vancouver Canucks' twin superstars Wednesday, heating up an already spicy rivalry.

Bolland, appearing on WGN Radio in Chicago, called Daniel and Henrik Sedin "sisters" and added they would not fit in with the Blackhawks. He also said he hated every member of the Canucks.

"Well, (the Sedins will) never become Hawks," Bolland said. "I don't think we'd let them on our team. We'd be sure not to let them on our team. And, yeah, they probably still would be sisters. I think they might sleep in bunk beds. The older one has the bottom one, the younger one got the top."

Bolland also took a shot at the city of Vancouver, saying "there's lots of weirdos there. You don't want to be out there too long."

When told of Bolland's quotes, Canucks coach Alain Vigneault responded in kind.

"Dave Bolland has an IQ the size of bird seed and a face only a mother can love," Vigneault said.

The Blackhawks don't face the Canucks again until Jan. 31 in Vancouver.
