CHICAGO -- Chicago defenseman Brian Campbell is set to make his season debut on Monday when the Blackhawks face the Rangers in Manhattan, according to the Tribune.

Campbell had been ruled out for at least the first month of the season after suffering a sprained right knee in an exhibition victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on October 1, when he took a hit along the boards.

The 31-year-old has missed the defending Stanley Cup champions' first 13 games of the season, during which the club went 7-5-1, good enough for first place in the Central Division.

Last season, Campbell recorded seven goals and 38 points in 68 games, adding a goal and five points in 19 playoff tilts.
