Toews could miss SuperStar Showdown
By QMI Agency

Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is nursing a knee injury and will be a game-time decision for the 2010 SuperStar Summer Showdown, slated for Thursday at 7 p.m. at the MTS Centre.

Toews, who captured the Conn Smythe Trophy after leading the Blackhawks to the Stanley Cup, has been receiving treatment for an MCL strain.

While Toews still hopes to be in the lineup, he’s officially listed as day-to-day.

Even if Toews can’t play in the game, in support of The Believe in the Goal Foundation Inc., the St. Vital product will be on hand at MTS Autograph Alley.

There will still be plenty of NHL star power in the game, as Mike Richards of the Philadelphia Flyers, Travis Zajac of the New Jersey Devils, Eric Fehr of the Washington Capitals, Cam Barker of the Minnesota Wild, Colton Orr of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Jordin Tootoo of the Nashville Predators — to name a few.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
