WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jetsí home-ice woes continued, Saturday, as they failed to shovel some dirt on the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Jets dropped a 3-1 decision, allowing Carolina to move to within four points of the Southeast Division lead. The Hurricanes also have three games in hand.

For the third time in their last four home games, the Jets trailed 2-0 after a nightmarish first period.
