CALGARY - The Calgary Flames player-personnel team is complete.
Taking advantage of an off-day in the Stanley Cup Final series, the Flames announced Friday morning they have named Craig Conroy and Brad Pascall assistant general managers.
Conroy, Pascall and senior vice-president and assistant GM Michael Holditch, will report directly to GM Brad Treliving, who made the official announcement Friday at the Saddledome.
“This is a very important day for our organization as we talk about where we want to go and the success that we want to have,” Treliving said. “To me, you need to build your foundation off the ice before you can ever think of having success on the ice.”
The newest addition to the Flames staff is Pascall, who has served as vice-president of hockey operations/national teams with Hockey Canada since 2010.
“I’m thrilled and honoured especially to be working with a Canadian franchise and in my hometown since 1998 of Calgary,” Pascall said later
