CALGARY - David Jones is having a debate with himself.

The topic is Sunday’s Super Bowl featuring the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos and who he was cheering for in the NFL’s championship match.

The Calgary Flames winger grew up in Vancouver, so the Seahawks are the natural hometown team.

However, he also spent six seasons in sports-mad Denver, where everybody bleeds orange.

“I don’t know who I’m cheering for,” Jones said after Monday’s practice in preparation for Tuesday’s clash with the Chicago Blackhawks. “I like Seattle and the way they play, and to win with that young quarterback would be cool.

“But I’m a big fan of Peyton Manning.

“I guess, I’ll have to go with Seattle. All my friends have season tickets and drive down every weekend, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon a bit.

“It’s going to be an awesome game.”
