CALGARY - Tim Jackman has been handed a one-way ticket to Disneyland.

The Calgary Flames announced Thursday they've traded the broad-shouldered right-winger to the Pacific Division-leading Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Draft.

“As I told Tim, I said, 'This is very difficult on a personal level,' because we all love him,” said Flames GM Jay Feaster. “Tim Jackman has been the ultimate warrior for this hockey team. He's sweated, bled, cried tears ... He's everything you want in a teammate and a human being.”

He wasn't part of the long-term plan at the Saddledome, though, and that's why the 32-year-old winger and soon-to-be unrestricted free agent was traded to the Ducks.
