WINNIPEG - All game, the Winnipeg Jets fans were serenading Reto Berra.

He had the last laugh.

The Calgary Flames goalie had all kinds of tense moments but came up with 43 saves in regulation and overtime and held strong in the shootout to backstop his team to a 5-4 victory Monday night that finally snapped his team's losing skid at six games.

Thanks to Berra's stops -- 22 in the second period alone -- and Sean Monahan's goal that won the shootout in the eighth round, the Flames won for the first time since Nov. 3 in Chicago.

The Flames, who had just two wins in a dozen outings, improve to 7-11-3.
