We now know how big of a bite the injury bug has taken from the Calgary Flames.

Captain Mark Giordano is expected to miss six to eight weeks due to a broken ankle suffered Oct. 21. Giordano, who was a point-per-game player before being hurt, has missed the last three outings.

As well, right winger Lee Stempniak is listed as week to week with a broken bone in his foot. He was injured in the Oct. 24 clash in Dallas.
