CALGARY - According to reports from his homeland, Miikka Kiprusoff has made up his mind.

That's if you believe the Calgary Flames netminder wasn't already set on retirement.

Vancouver-based Finnish hockey correspondent Juha Hiitela passed on a report from news agency STT-Lehtikuva Tuesday on Twitter: “Kiprusoff has told to Finnish national team that he is retiring. ‘If Calgary has not announced it, you guys can do that.’ #Flames #Kipper”

The Flames have announced nothing about their longtime starter, although it's no secret the 36-year-old puck-stopper was pondering retirement despite having one year remaining on his contract.
