CALGARY - Skating on the ice at Xcel Energy Center is not foreign to Ben Hanowski.

Doing it with an NHL team's logo on it, amidst the frenzy of a Minnesota Wild crowd, that's a dream he's hoping to live.

"I've played a number of games in high school there, and in college, our conference tournament is there," said Hanowski, one of the slew of young players who have become part of the Calgary Flames down the stretch this season. "You're always thinking, 'This is pretty cool, playing in an NHL rink, but how much cooler would it be if you were playing, actually, in the NHL in this rink?'

"It'll be a pretty surreal moment if that happens."

The opportunity he's hoping for will likely come to fruition Sunday when the Flames face the Minnesota Wild, a team Hanowski grew up cheering for while growing up in the town of Little Falls and while attending St. Cloud State University.
