CALGARY - After not just one but two travel days from hell, Mark Cundari arrived in Calgary to join the Flames.

He arrived in the early hours Friday, but without any clothes or any equipment. Because of a winter storm in Denver and ensuing flight cancellations, Cundari was a last-second passenger on a flight late Thursday night. His belongings couldn't be transferred in time, not even for him to morning skate in anticipation of the club's clash with the Anaheim Ducks at the Saddledome.

“My flight to Calgary was canceled but I saw on the board there was one at 10:30 and I ran to the gate. They were about to shut the door, but I got on,” he said.

“I got here with no bags. No equipment. Nothing.”
