EDMONTON - That wicked wind that whipped across the prairies Saturday night?

Most likely a warning sign from Mother Nature that a spring snowstorm was coming, but for at least a handful seconds at about 9:14 p.m. MT, it was a sigh of relief from Calgary Flames winger Sven Baertschi.

That’s right, the prized prospect finally scored his first goal of the season in Saturday’s Hockey Night in Canada showcase against the Edmonton Oilers, weaselling a wrist-shot through Nikolai Khabibulin’s five-hole in the second period of the Flames’ 4-1 win over their archrivals at Rexall Place.
