It was the Kids vs. the Canucks.

At least, that’s the way Calgary Flames head coach Bob Hartley was treating it.

The Kids lost, but there were plenty of positives for the homeside in Wednesday’s 4-1 setback against the Vancouver Canucks at the Saddledome.

Flames call-up Max Reinhart notched his first NHL assist and T.J. Brodie had a busy, busy night on the blueline, as the Flames gave the Northwest Division leaders a scare, at least until the Canucks scored three times in a five-minute span in the third period to claim the two points.
