Flames need win against Kings

LOS ANGELES — Not even counting the tossing and turning, daylight savings time robbed the Calgary Flames of one hour of sleep Saturday night.

Especially in the aftermath of a 6-2 slaughter from the Los Angeles Kings in the first instalment of a back-to-back set with the Stanley Cup champions, time seems to be slipping away even faster than that.

“Time is running out quick here,” admitted Flames defenceman Mark Giordano. “We almost have to start treating games like do-or-dies because you’re not going to gain six or seven or eight points down the stretch. You have to stay with the pack.












Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
  Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
  No, they should go to Quebec instead.
