If recent history is any indication, two goals should do it.
In their first of four meetings this season, the Minnesota Wild eked out a 2-1 shootout win over the Calgary Flames.
Just three days ago, the Flames earned a slice of redemption with a 3-1 triumph over the Wild, their offensive haul buoyed by an empty-net goal.
Despite the additions of skilled forwards such as Zach Parise (Minnesota) and Jiri Hudler (Calgary) and offensive-minded defencemen like Ryan Suter (Minnesota) and Dennis Wideman (Calgary), you can still expect a tight-checking, defence-first affair whenever the Flames and Wild face off. Tuesday's battle at Xcel Energy Centre (6 p.m., SNWest) should be no exception.
