Flames rally to down Desert Dogs
By WES GILBERTSON, QMI Agency

And the Oscar for best comeback story goes to ... the Calgary Flames.

Just when it seemed the Flames had found a way to lose Sunday's meeting with the Phoenix Coyotes at the Saddledome, captain Jarome Iginla — with his second of the night — tied it up with 1:23 remaining in the third period and Curtis Glencross scored the game-winner just 23 seconds later for the 5-4 victory.

The best news is for the second consecutive night, the Flames refused to roll out the red carpet for their out-of-town guests, notching back-to-back wins at the Saddledome for the first time this season. They're now back to the so-called .500 mark with a 7-7-3 record.

Tim Jackman and Michael Cammalleri also scored for the Flames.

Raffi Torres had a pair for the Coyotes, while Michael Stone and Nick Johnson had singles. Stone, a former Calgary Hitmen standout, received credit for a goal that was booted in by Flames defenceman Jay Bouwmeester.

The Vancouver Canucks should replace ex-coach Alain Vigneault with...
  Guy Boucher.
  Lindy Ruff.
  Andy Murray.
  Jacques Martin.
  Brent Sutter.
  Don Hay.
  Other.
