Snapshots: Jagr says Flames found gem in Cervenka

DALLAS -- It seems like Dallas Stars sniper Jaromir Jagr plans to play forever, but if the 41-year-old ever hangs up his skates, he might have a future as an agent.

Jagr certainly made a compelling sales pitch for Calgary Flames newcomer Roman Cervenka -- his linemate for one season with Avangard Omsk in the KHL -- prior to Sunday's meeting at the American Airlines Center.

"In a long season, I think he'll score 40," Jagr said. "No problem. If he's going to have a chance to play, I think he's going to do it, for sure."

With 669 NHL tallies on his eye-popping resume, Jagr knows a thing or two about putting pucks in the net. Cervenka, he says, is an expert, too.

The 27-year-old has two goals and four assists in 10 outings with the Flames so far, but his conditioning seems to be improving after recovering from a blood clot in his leg.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
