DALLAS — Calgary Flames centre Roman Horak couldn't have picked a more perfect time for his first goal of the season.
Same goes for Matt Stajan.
And Steve Begin's timing was even better.
Horak, Stajan and Begin each celebrated third-period tallies — each banging home a rebound — as the Flames shook off an awful second period to storm back for Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.
The Flames surrendered 22 shots — and three goals — in the middle frame but were a different team after the second intermission.
Horak, skating on a line with fellow Czechs Jiri Hudler and Roman Cervenka, scored on a rebound at 1:39 to give the out-of-towners a whiff of opportunity.
Forty-five seconds later, Stajan scored from almost an identical shot, sending Lee Stempniak's rebound to the back of the net.
