Right colour. Wrong logo.

Joey MacDonald insists he’s ready to go.

But he can’t step onto the ice with that mask, can he?

“I can, but I don’t want to,” MacDonald said of his mask adourned with a couple of winged wheels. “I have one in the paint shop already.

“It’s not too bad. There’s a little bit of Red Wing at the bottom. It could be a lot worse. At least all the gear matches.

“I went to Boston one time, and I had all the red and white equipment with the black and yellow jersey.”

The Calgary Flames new goaltender had two tours with the Detroit Red Wings sandwiched around stops with the Boston Bruins, the New York Islanders and the Toronto Maple Leafs during his seven-year NHL career.

He hasn’t played since last March 4 because of a bad back, but the 33-year-old said he’s ready for game action.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
