Five Burning Questions: Flames' troubles at home

'Hip flexors' seem to be causing a fair amount of pain for Calgary Flames fans these days. Both Sven Baertschi and Michael Cammalleri are out of the lineup thanks to the ailing muscle group. SUN file photo.
Seven days can make a massive difference.
And yet, this feels eerily like one week ago.
Rewind three games, and you'll remember the Calgary Flames promising to regroup after a heartbreaking 3-2 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in a Feb. 2 game they dominated from start to finish.
Saturday's 5-1 schooling from the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena was different. The Flames certainly didn't deserve the win, but they're, once again, out to make amends.
Thanks to road victories over the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets, the Flames (3-4-2) can feel good about what they accomplished last week.
They can't let Saturday's lopsided loss turn into an extended skid, though.
The Flames (3-4-2) open a three-game homestand with Monday's matchup against the Minnesota Wild and will also welcome the Dallas Stars (Wednesday) and St. Louis Blues (Friday) to the Saddledome.
