COLUMBUS - The talk has been all about who will be in for the Calgary Flames when they face the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night.

That would be Leland Irving starting in goal in place of the injured Miikka Kiprusoff.

However, the Flames could be missing a piece of the puzzle when the puck drops.

Left winger Michael Cammalleri is a “game-time decision” for the affair (5 p.m., Sportsnet West), according to head coach Bob Hartley.

“He feels much better. There’s an ‘if’,” Hartley said after the morning skate.

Cammalleri, who is yet to score a goal but did collect a pair of assists in Tuesday’s 4-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, didn’t practice Wednesday and briefly partook in the morning skate.

The Flames (2-3-2), have plenty of other issues to worry about on a night they’ll try to move up from last in the Western Conference standings. A win will put them ahead of the Blue Jackets (3-6-1).
