Don Cherry gets it wrong: Fighting not the Flames' problem

CALGARY - On the surface, it’s an absurd concept put forward by Don Cherry.

Grapes, as he’s known, spoke up after the first period of Saturday night’s Calgary Flames clash with the Chicago Blackhawks and espoused this theory: The Flames aren’t winning games because they’re not fighting.

Yep, Cherry used his pulpit to say the Flames have limped out of the gates to start the season because they don’t have guys dropping the mitts often enough.
