CALGARY - So, about taking advantage of those four days of rest.

Turns out it didnt help the Calgary Flames one little bit.

Despite facing a Colorado Avalanche team that was playing its third road game in four nights, the Flames should have had the game right where they wanted.

Tied at three-apiece going into the third period, the Flames saw it all fall apart in the final frame in a 6-3 loss.

One bad stretch did in the Flames, who fell to 1-3-1 this season.
