Flames' Cammalleri pumped to be reunited with captain Iginla
By SCOTT FISHER, QMI Agency

Michael Cammalleri and Jarome Iginla

Michael Cammalleri doesn’t have many bad days.

The affable Calgary Flames forward can usually be seen with a smile — a noticeably more toothless one thanks to an errant puck to the chiclets a few days prior to camp kicking off.

But he had reason to flash the … er gums Tuesday after learning he had a new winger on his line.

“It’s Jarome Iginla,” Cammalleri said when asked about the new line combinations at Tuesday’s practice at the Corral.

“What can I say? I don’t want to play with him?”

That would be silly talk.

Especially considering how well the duo fared a few years back when Cammalleri sniped 39 goals and 82 points in the 2008-09 NHL season playing on the opposite side of the captain.

When Cammalleri was re-acquired by the Flames from the Montreal Canadiens last January, many thought a reunion with Iginla was a no-brainer.

Do you think the officiating has been fair in the Kings-Sharks series?
  Yes
  No
No ... but the refs seem to be evening it out themselves
