CALGARY - Happy holidays, hockey fans.

This was supposed to be an exciting stretch at the Saddledome.

On Wednesday, the Calgary Flames were slated to welcome former teammate Dion Phaneuf and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Saturday's late game on Hockey Night in Canada would have featured the Flames and Buffalo Sabres, marking Robyn Regehr's return to the arena where he threw his weight around for 10 seasons -- he ranks second in franchise history with 826 games played -- before being traded away in June 2011.
