Stanley Cup: CHI @ BOS

Glencross out at least six weeks
By RANDY SPORTAK, QMI Agency

CALGARY - So much for the quick recovery Curtis Glencross and the Calgary Flames were hoping for.

The left winger, who was leading the team in goals before suffering a MCL injury in Tuesday’s 2-1 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks, was placed on the injured list Friday and expected to miss at least six weeks.

It’s the latest blow to a Flames team which has been decimated by injuries all season.

Glencross, 29, was well on his way to setting a new career high in goals and points with 18 tallies and 33 points in 45 outings.

He signed a four-year, US$10.2 million contract after netting 24-goals and 43 points last season, his first time cracking the 20-goal plateau.

Would Seattle be a good city for the NHL to relocate to?
Yes, it'd be a great market.
  Maybe, who knows.
No, they should go to Quebec instead.
