Flames recall Brett Carson

The Calgary Flames have recalled defenceman Brett Carson from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
The 6-ft. 4, 220-lb. Regina native, will join the Calgary squad in San Jose.
"Carson was sent to Abbotsford on conditioning assignment for the second time this season," the Flames said in a statement.
"He spent four games with the Heat from November 30 through December 11 and another seven games on this assignment which started on January 4."
The Flames acquired the right shooter when they claimed him off waivers on Feb. 28, 2011
