Rene Bourque's hot stick has netted the league's attention.
The Flames winger's league-leading six goals last week helped earn the 28-year-old the NHL's first star honour.
In four games since a mild concussion kept him out of two contests, Bourque has six goals - including three game-winners - and an assist.
He scored the lone goal of a 1-0 overtime win in Nashville Oct. 19, then earned the third hat-trick of his career to go with an assist in a 6-2 victory in Columbus, and finished the week with two more goals, including his third game-winner of the week, in a 4-0 shutout over the San Jose Sharks at the Saddledome.
The 28-year-old native of Lac La Biche, Alberta, who scored a career high 27 goals with the Flames in 2009-10, leads his club in scoring this season (6-1--7) and is tied for the League lead in game-winning goals with Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp (with three).
