CALGARY - Three more Flames hopefuls are on the way to Abbotsford.

Goaltender Matt Keetley and defencemen John Negrin and Keith Seabrook were all assigned to the AHL Abbotsford Heat Monday.

It leaves the club with 21 forwards which includes the injured Daymond Langkow, Matt Stajan and Ryan Stone 11 defencemen and three goalies.

As well, prospect defenceman Gord Baldwin has been placed on waivers, which is the step to going to the minors.

None of the three sent to Abbotsford were expected to remain in Calgary, although Negrin was considered poised to be able to push for a spot in Calgary this season.

Negrin played in one pre-season game, during which he suffered an ankle injury.

He is coming off an injury filled 2009-10 season in which he suffered a broken wrist and broken kneecap, which sidelined him in February.
