Adam Pardy is the odd-man out on the Calgary Flames defence with the addition of Steve Staios at the NHL's trade deadline.

As for the forwards, Flames head coach Brent Sutter didn't reveal his lines during Friday's morning skate. He did, however, have a couple of meetings on the ice with what might be his top two lines.

He pulled Jarome Iginla, Matt Stajan and Rene Bourque into a huddle, then talked with the trio of Mikael Backlund, Niklas Hagman and Ales Kotalik.

As for the rest of the forwards, we'll guess Christopher Higgins, Daymond Langkow and David Moss as the third pairing, and a final trio of Curtis Glencross, Eric Nystrom and Jamal Mayers sticking together.

That would leave Craig Conroy and Nigel Dawes still out up front.

The defensive pairings were Robyn Regehr-Cory Sarich; Jay Bouwmeester-Steve Staios; and Mark Giordano-Ian White.
