In the second period, Flames D Mark Giordano caught Hawks RW Patrick Kane with his head down, crushing him into the sideboards.

GOAL OF THE GAME

Hawks C Jonathan Toews stole the puck from Flames D Cory Sarich and rifled a backhand pass cross-ice to a wide-open Patrick Kane, who one-timed it past G Miikka Kiprusoff.
