The last time they faced off, it cost Sheldon Souray a month of the season.

In a race for the puck back in October, Jarome Iginla tripped Souray and they both crashed into the end boards.

Iginla was able to shake it and didn't miss a shift. Souray suffered a concussion and was out for 16 games.

"Like I said after it happened, it was an accident," Iginla said yesterday. "I was sorry to see him out for that time. It's good to see him back."

The injury occurred when Iginla got his stick underneath one of Souray's skates as they chased the puck along the end boards.

Souray wasn't talking to the media prior to last night's game, the first time the two met since the collision.

However, Iginla has since talked to Souray.

"I touched base with him," Iginla said. "I apologized for having my stick in there and told him it was an accident. I've known him since junior, I've played with him in a lot of different things and we're both from this area."
