The Flames aren't the only team in the organization that has had great success on the road.

Their AHL affiliate in Abbotsford finished off their most recent four-game road trip with three victories, the last a 3-0 win over the Toronto Marlies.

Abbotsford (12-10-4) has won eight road games.

Home-ice success hasn't come at the same rate, and it won't come easy this weekend, when the AHL-leading Rochester Americans -- Florida's farm team -- visit for games tomorrow and Sunday.

Abbotsford was boosted with the return of forwards John Armstrong and Brett Sutter from injury during the recent trek, but David Van der Gulik is out due to an ankle sprain.

Down the ladder a bit, on top of Greg Nemisz (first round, 2008), the Flames have a couple of other players who could represent their country at the upcoming world juniors.

2009 first-round draft choice Tim Erixon is part of the mix for Sweden's defence corps, while goalie Joni Ortio is likely to be part of Finland's squad.
