By STEVE MACFARLANE, SUN MEDIA

8 P.M., SPORTSNET/FAN 960

COMING IN

On the strength of a hat-trick from RW Jarome Iginla, the Flames came beat the host L.A. Kings Saturday. The win snapped a two-game slide.

The Ducks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning at home 4-3 in overtime Thursday to snap a four-game losing skid but lost 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks at the Honda Center Saturday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Ducks own the Flames at the Pond. Winners of nine straight over the Flames in Anaheim, the Ducks will look to make it 10 tonight in their first of four clashes this season. They're 29-28-7-3 overall since the Quackers joined the league in 1993-94.

NOTABLES

POWERPLAY -- Calgary 21% (16-76, 16th); Anaheim 22.4% (19-85, 10th).

PENALTY KILLING -- Calgary 77.6% (22nd); Anaheim 74.0% (29th).

INJURIES

CALGARY -- RW Rene Bourque (undisclosed) on injured reserve; LW Curtis Glencross (undisclosed) is probable.

ANAHEIM -- LW Joffrey Lupul (back), C Ryan Carter (foot).

QUOTE OF NOTE

"I gave him the windmill, hoping it wouldn't hit my hand. That's a guy who's got a heavy shot when it hits you. How you have a guy like that who hasn't scored a goal for (115 games) is strange."

-- Flames G Curtis McElhinney of a Robyn Regehr blast that stuck in the netting during practice yesterday.
