SAVE OF THE GAME

Curtis McElhinney's first shot was a tough one. Lightning RW Mark Recchi's shot on a powerplay found its way through traffic and the Flames backup goalie had to stick out his right arm to block it.

NOTABLES

The Flames leave for a seven-game road trip today and will likely be without C Daymond Langkow to start it. Langkow is still bothered by an injured hand, and coach Mike Keenan said he will stay back to keep rehabbing. Although LW Andre Roy (concussion) declared himself ready, he didn't play last night, but Keenan said Roy will make the road trip ... Flames D Dion Phaneuf and RW Jarome Iginla both extended their point streaks to four games.
