GOAL

Miikka Kiprusoff: No fault on second and third goals, but first one wasn't up to snuff. C

DEFENCE

Dion Phaneuf: Showed good smarts not bothering to fight Rick Rypien in the first period and Mike Brown in the third. B

Cory Sarich: Needed repairs after being hit into the Vancouver bench then popped a few times by Alex Burrows. C

Anders Eriksson: Steady game, without giveaway problems that's plagued him. C+

Robyn Regehr: Played a punishing game with his body, with several big hits. B

Adrian Aucoin: Sure gives team a second hard shooter from the point on the PP. B

Rhett Warrener: A couple of hits and solid penalty kill. C+

FORWARDS

Stephane Yelle: OK game but nothing all that wild and crazy to note. C+

Owen Nolan: Hit on Taylor Pyatt set an early tone and had a good scoring chance but left the game midway through the first due to groin problem. INC

Jarome Iginla: Yeah sure, he doesn't get fired up after being in a fight. Iginla was possessed in the second period. C+

Eric Godard: Powerplays limited his ice time greatly. Nor did he have a chance to settle some scores. C+

Wayne Primeau: Is there a reason he's played in all but one pre-season games? Started strong but didn't have much impact as it went on. C+

Kristian Huselius: Registered a half-dozen shots on goal, but was trying to be too creative at times. Robbed on a great scoring chance. C

Daymond Langkow: Sneakily racked up quite a number of shots on goal. C

Craig Conroy: Sprung Nolan with a great pass off the boards. Otherwise, non-descript night. C

David Moss: It's unfair to expect he'll score 20 goals in a full season, but it won't happen unless he plays better. C-

Marcus Nilson: Will need to provide more offence but does play well beside Yelle. C+

Alex Tanguay: A few great passes led to scoring chances but didn't shoot enough. C+

Warren Peters: Had tough time in fight with Rick Rypien. Not much ice time. C
