Calgary had its six-game winning streak snapped at the 'Dome Tuesday night in a 4-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. The Flames can clinch a playoff spot with a win.

The Sharks went into last night's late encounter in Anaheim on a three-game winning streak and a 11-1-2 run.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Flames took the last meeting 7-4 at home but San Jose came out ahead in both previous encounters this season.

San Jose hasn't been kind to Calgary in recent history. The Flames have one win in the last 10 meetings at the Shark Tank in Northern California.
