The Flames played a tight-checking game Tuesday night at the 'Dome to claim a 2-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings and end a three-game losing streak.

The Preds beat Mike Modano and the Dallas Stars 3-2 in a rough affair Saturday before their late matchup with the Vancouver Canucks last night.
