A 3-2 defeat to Minnesota has the Flames on a three-game losing skid. They have one win in six games (1-4-1).

Detroit arrives on the heels of a 4-1 loss in Vancouver, only the second regulation-time loss in 14 games.

The Wings have taken two of three this season against Calgary, the last a 7-4 tilt last month in the Motor City. The Flames won the last game in Calgary and have a 6-3-1 record in the last 10 meetings at the 'Dome.
