COMING IN

A putrid 7-4 loss Sunday in Detroit ended another winless three-game road trip and puts the Flames 0-2-2 in their last four -- matching their longest skid of the season.

The Southeast Division-leading Thrashers were spanked 5-1 in Edmonton Sunday night and have dropped two in a row. Atlanta is on a 1-4-1 skid of its own.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The last time these teams met was Feb. 10, 2004, when Jarome Iginla and Dean McAmmond both scored twice in a 5-2 Flames win at the Saddledome. Calgary has won all three meetings at the Saddledome but the all-time record between the clubs is even down the middle -- with three wins each and one game ending in a tie.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- David Moss has a three-game streak, with a goal and two helpers.

THRASHERS -- Marian Hossa was blanked in Edmonton but has two goals and four assists in his last four games.

WHO'S NOT

FLAMES -- Tony Amonte was scratched last game having gone 13 tilts without a goal and netting only one in 23.

THRASHERS -- Goalie Kari Lehtonen has only one victory in his last five outings and allowed 17 goals. He got a well-deserved rest in Edmonton after playing 15 straight games.
