The Flames returned to the win column with a 4-1 victory over cellar-dwelling Los Angeles, Calgary's fifth straight home-ice win.

Columbus had a four-game winning streak snapped in Edmonton with a 5-2 loss.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Third period goals by Jarome Iginla and Chuck Kobasew erased a 1-0 deficit and gave the Flames a 2-1 win in the last meeting, Dec. 1 at the Saddledome to exact some revenge after Columbus won a 5-4 shootout in Ohio.

The Flames have a 4-0-1 record in the last five meetings at the Saddledome but only one victory over the Blue Jackets in the last four encounters overall.
