STEVE MACFARLANE -- Calgary Sun

COMING IN

Calgary has a disappointing road record this year but was dominant in Edmonton last Saturday night while drubbing the Oilers 4-0 at Rexall Place to head into the all-star break on a winning note.

Minny, meanwhile, picked up a point against Dallas but lost its fourth shootout decision in 12 tries this season on Stu Barnes' winner.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Flames have won both meetings at the Saddledome this season but fell 3-2 in a shootout in their last visit to the Xcel Energy Center Dec. 7. Mikko Koivu scored the winner but Brian Rolston was the game's first star with a goal in regulation and another -- using his patented shootout slapshot -- in the showdown.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- LW Kristian Huselius took a seven-game point streak into the all-star break with five goals and another handful of helpers, topping off a plus-7 rating during the run that began Jan. 7 against the Wild.

WILD -- Slovakian sniper Marian Gaborik has scored seven goals in eight games since his return from a groin injury that forced him to miss 34 contests.

WHO'S NOT

FLAMES -- D Andrei Zyuzin has puck-moving skills and skating ability but has managed just two assists on the season and none since late October.

WILD -- Winger Brian Rolston went to Dallas amid a four-game point drought, his longest scoreless streak of the season. He had four points in the all-star game, though.
