COMING IN

With a strange 6-4 win over Los Angeles at the Saddledome Friday night -- there were four goals scored in the final 81 seconds, including a pair of empty netters -- the Flames snapped a three-game losing skid.

The Oilers had lost four of five before last night's home battle against the Vancouver Canucks.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

It's been a homer series this season in the Battle of Alberta. Edmonton has won both meetings up north, including the last time the clubs squared off, while Calgary took the lone 'Dome clash. Calgary has a 6-2-2 record in the last 10 meetings overall and a 6-0-2 mark in the last eight at home.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- Jarome Iginla is coming off his third four-point night of December. Four points is his career high, reached six times before this season.

OILERS -- Shawn Horcoff has a three-game point run, with four assists in that spell.

WHO'S NOT

FLAMES -- Chuck Kobasew has scored only once in 28 games.

OILERS -- Dwayne Roloson has one win in his last seven games, allowing 27 goals.

INJURY REPORT

FLAMES -- D Roman Hamrlik (groin) is likely back. LW Marcus Nilson (knee), D Richie Regehr (head) and RW Darren McCarty are out.

OILERS -- LW Ethan Moreau (shoulder) is out.
