A 5-3 victory in Los Angeles over the Kings Tuesday put the Flames at .500 two-thirds of the way through their six-game road swing. They've won two of the last three.

Colorado played some 1980s hockey Tuesday, outgunning the Oilers in Edmonton 7-6.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

In the first of eight meetings this season, the Flames went three-for-five on the powerplay and had seven players garner two points in a 5-2 victory late November in Calgary. The Flames have won four straight against the Avs, all at the 'Dome.
