Calgary was dominant against Vancouver for two periods Saturday night but had a letdown in the third before hanging on for a 5-3 victory at the Saddledome to earn their franchise record-tying ninth straight win at home. Minnesota beat Chicago 5-4 in OT that night.

The Wild sent the visiting Flames home with a single point after winning in a shootout in their first meeting of the season last Thursday. Minnesota grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first period but Calgary sent the game to extra time with a shorthanded goal and one on the powerplay in the second frame.

FLAMES -- C Daymond Langkow is riding an eight-game point streak (2-9-11), while linemate RW Jarome Iginla has scored in five straight.

WILD -- RW Mark Parrish netted a hat-trick with his overtime winner against Chicago.
