COMING IN

The Flames went 0-2 in Southern California over the weekend -- with a 3-1 loss to the Kings Saturday and a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Ducks Sunday -- and are 1-3 in their last four games. But their home record is 7-3 and five of their next six contests are at the 'Dome.

The Avalanche is one win better than the Flames on the season coming off a 4-1 win in Vancouver Saturday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Tonight will be the first of eight division tilts between them this season. The Flames were 5-3 against the Avs a year ago and have the all-time edge at 43-37-20-2.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- LW Kristian Huselius scored two against the Ducks Sunday and now has seven goals and eight points in his last nine games.

AVALANCHE -- Rookie LW Wojtek Wolski scored a goal and added three helpers in the Avs' win over the Canucks.

WHO'S NOT

FLAMES -- Their special teams. Four of the eight goals scored against the Flames in California were PP markers.

AVALANCHE -- D Patrice Brisebois is a team-worst minus-6 and has just seven points in 23 games.

INJURY REPORT

FLAMES -- D Rhett Warrener (hip) is questionable. C Stephane Yelle (ankle) is out.

AVALANCHE -- F Milan Hejduk (illness) is probable. D Jordan Leopold (hernia) is doubtful. C Pierre Turgeon (shoulder) and F Brad May (shoulder) are out.
