COMING IN

Both clubs have been rolling lately. The Flames won their fifth straight Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues, while the Red Wings took their ninth consecutive victory in Vancouver that same night. Goaltenders Miikka Kiprusoff and Dominik Hasek deserve much of the credit.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Wings jumped out to a quick two-goal lead at Joe Louis Arena Nov. 1 and held the Flames off to come away with a 3-2 win in their only meeting this year. The teams split their four-game series last year and Chuck Kobasew led the Flames in scoring with three goals and five points.

WHO'S HOT

FLAMES -- The trio of C Daymond Langkow, RW Jarome Iginla and LW Alex Tanguay combined for five points against the Blues, with Iginla and Tanguay each earning a pair of assists.

RED WINGS -- G Dominik Hasek extended his shutout stretch to 181:17 before Henrik Sedin snapped it Tuesday at GM Place.
