How the devil are you?

Not too bad.

It's Saturday night and you're not playing. Whatcha gonna do?

That's not an exciting question. In hockey season, it's pretty much have a good meal and get a good sleep.

What were you like at school?

The cow's tail. At the end of the line and at the back of the room. My old teacher called me the cow's tail.

I'm buying, what's your poison?

Where are you buying? Beer or wine, you're always fine. Anything other than that, you've gotta look out.

What's your most treasured material possession?

My Stanley Cup ring. I could get in trouble if I don't say wedding ring, though.

What's the most ridiculous think you've ever bought?

I've wasted too much money. What don't you buy that doesn't end up a waste. Every vehicle I've bought.

What's your first car?

A 1987 Mustang. My Oma, grandmother, paid the majority of it with some Bingo winnings, she was a pretty lucky gambler. She helped me buy my first car.

Your grandma bought you a Mustang? She must have been the coolest grandma ever.

She was. She was one of the best people I've met to this day. Very unique and a lot of fun.

Can you do any repairs on your car?

Not a chance.

I thought every small-town kid from Saskatchewan could do car repairs.

I love a steak and mashed potatoes and a beer, that makes me a Saskatchewan kid but I can't fix a car.

What's your culinary speciality?

Steak. I love barbecuing. I'm a pretty basic guy's guy. I do a lot on the barbecue and not much in the kitchen.

Who's the most famous person in your cellphone?

I don't know. Rhett Warrener maybe.

What's your favourite unhealthy food?

Ketchup chips or an Aero bar. When you come to Canada, that's something you have to get. Now that I'm here, I'll have to avoid the 7-Eleven stops.

What was the best year of your life?

Oh, 2003, when I won the Cup in New Jersey. It was one year you dream of having and when you have it, you want it more. Hopefully this year will be the best one yet.

What's your greatest fear?

Probably heights. Or Craig Berube.

What makes you laugh?

A good movie, like Wedding Crashers or Dumb and Dumber, those types of movies.

What movie made you teary-eyed?

I'm a guy's guy. I don't know if I cry at movies. That's really personal.

Pick five words to describe yourself.

Honest. You'd have to give me time for an overnight essay on that.

What TV series do you want on DVD?

Know what? The only thing I watch is Big Brother. I got into that reality show but honestly I could go without TV.

If you could be any athlete, who would you be?

Brett Favre. I don't know about right now but I always liked him. Lance Armstrong, too, it'd be pretty neat to win all those Tour de Frances.

Could you be convinced to karaoke and, if so, what's your song?

Not a chance. No. Would not happen.
